Elio Faravelli

Elio Faravelli, born in Varese, graduated as a surveyor and later specialized following a six-month master’s degree at Arapahoe College in Denver (USA) in 1981 which qualifies him in industrial accounting, purchasing planning, budgeting & forecasting.


In 1975 he entered the world of work at Valigeria Esperia, a company in the luggage business. He spent five years there with a multi-role experience and then moved on to the Samsonite group where he followed a progressive training process that led him to create two start-ups of a Samsonite factory, one near Varese and one in central Italy. He is involved on several occasions in the Samsonite Europe team for research and development.
After about 11 years of specific experience in the world of luggage, with the final qualification of executive, he assumes the role of General Manager of Nina Ricci, also dealing with relocation and production sources in China and Taiwan.

Always passionate about cutting-edge electronic systems, after 15 years in luggage he decides to change sector and becomes CEO of Ricar, an alarm systems company where he remains for 13 years. Subsequently, he passes as General Manager to De Bernardi S.r.l. – where he deals with corporate reorganization, new design and engineering department, refurbishment of machinery from electromechanical to electronic, obtaining ISO 9001, agreements with new distributors in the United States, Russia, Latin America, Finance & Controlling introduction from 2003 to 2008.

In 2008, he decides to start a freelance career and deals with the corporate reorganization of medium and medium-sized companies in Italy and Turkey.
